Red Crescent sends aid to Gaza

The UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has started the implementation of a humanitarian programme to offer support to the people of Gaza and provide their urgent needs.

Abu Dhabi: The UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has started the implementation of a humanitarian programme to offer support to the people of Gaza and provide their urgent needs.

The move is in line with the instructions of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and close follow up of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the RCA.

The programme is being implemented in stages, the first of which costs Dh8 million and covers medical supplies, medicines, hospital equipments and basic needs like food and sheltering material.
