Amman: The 6th RCA land convoy carrying relief goods for Syrian refugees has arrived in Jordan as part of the campaign to alleviate their suffering and improve humanitarian conditions.

The convoy includes six trucks, carrying 150 tonnes of diversified relief materials, including clothing, bedding, dates and children’s basic needs.

Deputy Secretary-General for Relief and Projects at the RCA Naima Eid Al Muhairi said that the relief items will be directed to the refugees of the UAE-Jordanian ‘Mrejib Al Fhood’ camp for Syrian refugees. She affirmed that the convoy comes as a continuation of relief operations for the benefit of refugees, pointing out that the RCA was keen to provide basic needs for them.

She highlighted that the RCA is working to keep up with humanitarian developments for the refugees in both Jordan and Lebanon, in addition to activating mechanisms and harnessing potential to reach the largest number of refugees.
