Sharjah: Qanat Al Qasba unveiled its new brand image on Wednesday and will now be referred to simply as "Al Qasba."
“The new logo was created with extensive care and has been influenced by the previous logo, which consisted of clear lines representing a bow that symbolises the unique architecture, and wavy lines symbolising the water canal, an integral part of Al Qasba's own identity,'' said Hazem Sawaf, marketing manager of Al Qasba Development Authority.
The Al Qasba Development Authority also announced that the visitors' figures of the year of 2007 compared to 2006 had increased greatly.
The 18 restaurants, cafes and outlets dotting Al Qasba's canal banks have recorded a 99 per cent jump in sales compared to last year.
Also restaurants and outlets have recorded 226,300 visitors, an 80 per cent increase in visitors compared to 2007.
