Plan for modern city in Maleeha
Maleeha area in Sharjah will become a fully serviced city of modern standards in line with the instructions of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Sharjah: Maleeha area in Sharjah will become a fully serviced city of modern standards in line with the instructions of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
The instructions reflect the policy of the Sharjah Executive Council, which monitors the needs of all areas in the emirate to upgrade them and develop them by providing all the facilities needed for a decent life for all citizens and residents, said Salah Bin Buti, Executive Council Member and Director-General of the Sharjah Planning and Survey Department.
The statement was made following a meeting between officials from the department and the Maleeha Municipal Council members.
During the meeting, a decision was made to approve the Industrial Area as part of the future plans to develop the infrastructure of Maleeha.
Other suggestions discussed included the swift approval of road signs and naming roads and residential areas in the city. Bin Buti said that specialist engineers have been asked to look into the task.
