Officials discuss ways to help victims of trafficking in UAE
A delegation from Dubai Police and Dubai Foundation for Women and Children met to strengthen the partnership between the community and the police.
Dubai: A delegation from Dubai Police and Dubai Foundation for Women and Children met to strengthen the partnership between the community and the police.
Afra Al Basti, director of Dubai Foundation for Woman and Children, met with a delegation from the General Department of Legal and Disciplinary Control in the Dubai Police, chaired by Major Dr Sultan Al Jamal, director of the Centre for Control of Human Trafficking.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of developing cooperation to facilitate the provision of care services for victims of human trafficking.
At the end of the meeting, Al Jamal thanked the director of the foundation for their cooperation with Dubai Police.
