No structural damage to building, says company
The fire occurred between the 20th and the 25th floors of the building, a statement from the Fortune Tower Group said yesterday.

Dubai: The fire occurred between the 20th and the 25th floors of the building, a statement from the Fortune Tower Group said yesterday.
"Preliminary information shows that the fire started at 12.30pm and was brought under control within 75 minutes," it adds.
It further notes, "Based on information released to us, there have been two casualties, while the number of workers injured is still being ascertained."
The statement said that there was no structural damage to the building.
"The management is continuously following up with the principal contractors of the building, IJM Corporation Berhad; the master-developers, Dubai Multi-Commodities Centre Authority (DMCCA); and the Dubai Civil Defence authorities to further ascertain the exact cause of the fire, and to further support remedial actions."
The statement said, "Fortune Investment Group will, from a moral and social perspective, lend all its support to those who have been affected by the incident."
