Monitoring seismic activity

Dubai: Dubai Municipality has linked Fujairah Municipality to its seismic monitoring system.

The move will help authorities to take necessary security and emergency procedures, including evacuation and rescue operations, in case of an earthquake.

The system, which is the only one of its kind in the UAE, covers the whole country, and monitors seismic activities at local, regional and international levels.
