Mohammad attends poetry evening
Emirati poet Ali Salem Al Ka'abi kicked off the evening reciting a Nabati poem that narrates his love and loyalty and praise for Shaikh Mohammad.

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Sunday attended a poetry evening by three Nabati and modern poets on the occasion of Shaikh Mohammad's fourth accession anniversary.
Emirati poet Ali Salem Al Ka'abi kicked off the evening reciting a Nabati poem that narrates his love and loyalty and praise for Shaikh Mohammad, and also highlights the achievements of Shaikh Mohammad: The leader, the Night and The Poet, who made his country a glimmering star in the world of civilisation, economy, business and finance and humanitarian works that exceeded the nation's boundaries to reach brotherly and friendly countries and peoples.
Bahraini Poet Abdul Rahman Rafea gave a modern poem depicting Shaikh Mohammad as an inspiring leader who transformed the desert into green areas and worked hard to raise the status of his country and people.
Emirati poet Ebrahim Bu Melha concluded the evening with a modern poem praising the national, humanitarian and noble qualities of Shaikh Mohammad.
Shaikh Mohammad was accompanied a number of Shaikhs and senior officials in addition to a crowd of lovers of poetry.
