Memorial to be held for DJ 'Hicksy'
Expatriates are mourning the loss of DJ Andy Hicks, who died in England earlier this month at the age of 53.
Dubai: Expatriates are mourning the loss of DJ Andy Hicks, who died in England earlier this month at the age of 53.
A commemoration ceremony will be held tomorrow from 6pm, at the George and Dragon, Ambassador Hotel, Bur Dubai.
Hicks, known as "Hicksy", spent 23 years in the Emirates during the '80s and '90s as a DJ and quizmaster.
Friend David Robinson said: "While it was sad to lose him, we all have fantastic memories of him."
