Man gets too much to handle
A man who was promised a wild night at a brothel got more than he bargained for when he was handed over to police for theft by four women at the premises.
On February 1, B.B., a 28-year-old Indian visitor, arrived at the flat in Karama with two other Indians who claimed that the apartment was used as a brothel.
The three barged their way into the flat and tied up one of the tenants, M.H., a 28-year-old Ethiopian housemaid. Two of the men fled the scene with the woman's purse, containing Dh1,500 and a mobile phone, leaving B.B. behind.
However, his victim managed to take control of the situation with the help of her three Ethiopian flatmates. The women detained him while waiting for police to arrive at the scene. The defendant told police he was framed by the two other men who had lured him to the flat with the promise of sex.
But at the premises, he was jumped on and detained by the women. The Dubai Court of First Instance found B. B. guilty of stealing. He will be deported after serving his two-year jail sentence.
