Illegal RAK livestock traders fined

Ras Al Khaimah: Violations have been registered against livestock traders who were found guilty of selling their livestock outside the limits of the emirate's Livestock Market.

According to Adel Al Deek, who heads the Environmental and Public Health Department at the RAK Municipality, municipal inspectors have conducted several raids at the Livestock Market where the violators were fined and ordered to sign pledges against repeating the violations.

The registered livestock traders complained that the activities of these illegal traders had negatively affected their business.

The Environment and Public Health Department at the RAK Municipality have also seized 217 vehicles displayed for sale in the public areas.
