Gulf News readers speak
Vince Traverso, Fishmonger
I read the paper while I wait at the municipality, the bank, or any place with queues. It's a great way to make idle time productive. I like the international news section best, but I also sneak a peek at tabloid! I am addicted to Kakuro. I would like to see more news about labour issues and, of course, fish."
Mansour Khan, Salesman
Because I am searching for an apartment I have been reading Gulf News a lot lately. I read it at the office or sometimes online. I look for news from Pakistan first, then search for apartments. If I have time I read the sport section. The business section could be improved upon."
Regi K., Sales executive
I am a subscriber to Gulf News, and have been for the past two years. I've been living here for ten years and I used to read another paper, but shifted to Gulf News. I read the main page, then business, then the appointments pages. I would like to see more local news."
Jancy Joshy, Company owner
This is my fifth year of reading Gulf News. The job pages and the classifieds are my favourites. I look at those first, then I go through the other news. I get the paper delivered to my house. It's the best paper. There is nothing to add. Everything is right here in Gulf News."
Alessandro Malandra, Financial advisor
We get the paper at my office. I mostly read the financial pages. I look at the front page first then I move on to business and sport. There is too much advertising but you cannot do anything about that, it pays the bills. Maybe you could include European stock listings."
