The four leg ride which was held for 120 kilometres saw absolute domination by the UAE riders who occupied the first three and the sixth places.
Sheikh Ahmed came first after covering the distance in five hours, 51 minutes and 34 seconds.
In a few seconds, he was followed by Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in the second and third places respectively.
Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan Al Nahyan won the sixth place.
The UAE squad was led by General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defence, who preferred to rest his horse.
"But for Sheikh Mohammed's instructions, I would not have won the ride," said Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
"I will spare no effort for the good of the UAE in all field."
The Spain ride is one of the qualifiers for the World Cup Endurance championship, also scheduled to be held in Jerez, Spain on September 16.
More than 97 riders from Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, South Africa, Australia, Colombia and Malaysia took part in the ride.
