Sharjah: "See Sharjah - Educational", a comprehensive e-guide and directory for education in Sharjah, will be officially released during a ceremony to be held at Al Zuhri Hall of University of Sharjah on Monday.
It is the first e-guide and directory of its kind which is supported by most of the Sharjah government authorities.
The e-guide & directory highlights the economic and investment opportunities in Sharjah and the natural beauty and cultural achievements of the emirate. The aim of the project is to attract visitors and investors to the vital sectors of tourism, commerce, investment, education, industry, health, sport, culture and meetings and exhibitions.
The e-guide contains information about schools and higher education facilities which will help students and their parents in selecting schools and colleges.
It also deals with educational laws, procedures for starting business, commercial rules, labour and visa laws. The information will help investors in the preparation of feasibility studies before starting business.
'See Sharjah - Educational' is a joint project of 'See Sharjah', the University of Sharjah and Sharjah Educational Zone - Ministry of Education.
More than 100,000 DVD copies, of both the e-guide and the e-directory will be available free of charge in most of the government offices and departments, universities, colleges, shopping centres and malls.
