Dubai: Passengers flying out of Dubai on Monday were confused as to whether they would be able to take their flights despite the road closures.

Dubai Civil Aviation (DCA) officials said Dubai International Airport would function normally on Monday, but advised passengers to arrive at the airport well in advance of their departure time.

“We usually advise passengers to come two hours in advance, but are asking them to arrive a couple of hours earlier on Monday to avoid delays,'' said a DCA official.
