Sharjah: Around Dh5 million worth of goods has gone up in smoke as a warehouse in Industrial Area No. 10, Sharjah, was gutted after a fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon, said an official from Sharjah Civil Defence.

The warehouse, which stored insulation materials and petrochemicals, caught fire around 4pm. Thick blanket of smoke still envelops the area.
