Carnival Fillies & Fashion on Thursday
Following the success of the Winter Racing Challenge Fillies & Fashion last month, the Carnival Fillies & Fashion event will see BurJuman, the official fashion partner of the Dubai Racing Club, once again showcase the very latest in racewear collections.
Dubai: The second BurJuman Fillies & Fashion event of the season takes place at Nad Al Sheba on Thursday.
Following the success of the Winter Racing Challenge Fillies & Fashion last month, the Carnival Fillies & Fashion event will see BurJuman, the official fashion partner of the Dubai Racing Club, once again showcase the very latest in racewear collections.
The Carnival Fillies & Fashion is sponsored by BurJuman, the official fashion partner, Contempo Events and Chiva Som.
The models' hair and make up is styled by Madi International, the region's leading hair and beauty salon, and Make Up Forever, the internationally recognized make-up brand.
Safiya Burnell, Head of Sales and Marketing at the Dubai Racing Club, said: “The BurJuman Fillies & Fashion events have become one of the first dates in the diary for Dubai's social and sporting set.
The evening features the Carnival Style Stakes competition, where best dressed racegoers can aim to win fabulous prizes on offer.
The prize for Style Stakes Lady includes BurJuman Shopping vouchers to the value of US$1500, a three-day stay for two, inclusive of return flights to Thailand at Chiva Som in Thailand, courtesy of Chiva Som and the Dubai Racing Club, a two-night stay and dinner at Al Qasr Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah.
The Style Stakes Couple win US$1000 in BurJuman gift vouchers, and the Style Stakes award for the Best Hat wins US$500 BurJuman shopping voucher.
Other prizes include a year's subscription to Harper's Bazaar and tickets to the International Village on Dubai World Cup day; gift vouchers from African & Eastern, flowers from Contempo, and a stylish shopping spree with DIVINE.
Tickets, priced at only AED 300 and inclusive of a sumptuous buffet and regular beverages, are selling fast for this popular event.
