British-based company entrusted with maintenance and operation of Dubai Metro
The Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai, has awarded the operation and maintenance of Dubai Metro rail service to Serco, a British-based company.
Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai, has awarded the operation and maintenance of Dubai Metro rail service to Serco, a British-based company.
As per the agreement, which is valid for 10 years, the company will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of trains and stations and also train employees, said Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of Roads and Transport Authority.
