Sharjah: A labour accommodation caught fire in the Al Saja'a industrial area at 3am on Tuesday.
A Civil Defence team was successful in extinguishing the flames. Sharjah police said the company suffered medium financial losses.
Police attributed the cause of the fire to an electrical short circuit. In a separate incident yesterday, a lorry collided with a pick-up truck at Al Mleiha on University City Road.
Both the drivers were Indians. The Indian passenger of the pick-up vehicle was killed in the accident.
