66-year-old man dies after being hit by a car in Ras Al Khaimah
An elderly Emirati died on Monday when a car driven by an Asian woman hit him on Al Jolan Street in Ras Al Khaimah.
Ras Al Khaimah: An elderly Emirati died on Monday when a car driven by an Asian woman hit him on Al Jolan Street in Ras Al Khaimah.
A senior police officer said the 66-year-old victim was crossing the street when the accident took place. The 31-year-old woman tried to avoid, but could not and hit the man, said the officer.
Paramedics declared the man dead on the spot.
Police are investigating the accident and the female driver has been detained.
