120 youth leaders meet to discuss Middle East
One hundred and twenty young leaders from all over the world came together yesterday at the "Learning from the Future" forum, a four-day workshop for young leaders of the world to address possible scenarios emerging in the Middle East by 2025.

Dubai: One hundred and twenty young leaders from all over the world came together on Monday at the "Learning from the Future" forum, a four-day workshop for young leaders of the world to address possible scenarios emerging in the Middle East by 2025.
Their ideas and concerns will then be presented to Arab leaders attending the World Economic Forum on the Middle East in Sharm Al Shaikh, Egypt, which takes place from May 18-20.
The forum, which was held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, invites students to review three possible future scenarios, namely the 'Multi-polar World,' 'the Sustainable World,' and 'Hyper-linked World.' It was organised by the British Council in partnership with the Young Arab Leaders (YAL).
Martin Brown, Chief Executive of the British Council, addressing the importance of the project said, "This is an opportunity to give a voice to the young people in senior politicians' discussions, a voice that is going to be different and contemporary."
For his part, Assem Kabesh, Chief Executive Officer of YAL, said that it is important to introduce the fresh view of the youth in societies in the Arab world.
