Fund raising campaign for displaced Syrians launched
UAE Red Crescent Authority on Saturday launched a three-day nationwide campaign to raise funds for Syrians displaced to Jordan and Lebanon by the unfortunate events in their country
Dubai: The UAE Red Crescent Authority on Saturday launched a three-day nationwide campaign to raise funds for Syrians displaced to Jordan and Lebanon by the unfortunate events in their country.
The donation drive comes in response to humanitarian appeals and in cooperation with international humanitarian agencies and Red Cross and Red Crescent charities. The campaign will be aired through visual and audio media, as well as by print media.
The RCA will receive donations through special accounts in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Al Hilal Bank, Sharjah Islamic Bank and Dubai Islamic Bank, as well as via SMS messages.
