Temperature in the UAE above normal for the month of August says forecaster

Dubai: The temperature is above normal for the month of August at between 43 and 45 degrees Celsius. Temperature during August usually should be 40 degrees Celsius, said Dr. S.K. Gupta, duty forecaster at Dubai met office.
Humidity levels are at 42 per cent making the evenings quite pleasant, said the forecaster.
Thunder clouds are expected over the mountains whipping up dust storms in the eastern region mountain ranges, but the activity will not affect inland.
The comfort index was hovering at three for an hour yesterday, which is ‘slightly uncomfortable', but that is expected to come down.
Temperatures will drop in the evenings to between 36 to 37 degrees Celsius. The weather bureau daily reports the comfort index to help people avoid sunstroke. The Index is graded from ‘comfortable' to ‘high stress'. The higher the humidity the higher the stress level.
