The Dubai Meteorological Office at Dubai International Airport has confirmed that flights have not been affected, although visibility at the office is down to 2,600 metres.
Temperatures eased off on Sunday, with a maximum of 39 degree Celsius while humidity on Sunday morning was an uncomfortable 7 on the scale.
Al Ain is currently recording visibility of 1,300 metres with wind at 20 knots. Motorists have been warned to take care on roads in and around Al Ain and Abu Dhabi, as the wind has the possibility of pushing cars off-course.
