Al Ain: Increased humidity and sweltering temperatures have made weather conditions more stressful across the UAE and weathermen see no respite in the next several days.
People living in coastal cities, such as Dubai, will even face unpleasant evenings.
"Evenings are no more pleasant in Dubai and other coastal areas due to the high humidity coming with the north-westerly winds," said Dr S.K. Gupta, a meteorologist at Dubai Met Office.
He said the current dusty conditions are expected to end in a day.
"The dust has been generated by storms in Iraq and Kuwait that have been coming in with the north-westerly winds," he said.
High humidity and dust in the air, he said, may generate hazy condition in some areas. The temperature is expected to remain in the range of 40C in Dubai and 44C in Al Ain.
According to the forecast of National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), the weather will be hot and hazy in general during the daytime with some low cloud over the eastern and mountainous parts of the country in the next 48 hours.
Winds will be light to moderate but can gain speed by the afternoon causing dust to blow over some western areas.
