Dubai: Dubai Municipality has intensified its inspection rides on industrial, service and trading organizations as part of its efforts to enhance the efficiency of environmental control on industrial establishments and ensure their compliance with criteria for waste disposal.

Industrial, service and trading organisations on radar
A total of 4,016 establishments were inspected in 2012, compared to 3,228 in 2011, a 5 per cent increase over the year before. The Environmental Control Section at the Dubai Municipality carries out regular inspections to make sure that the industrial establishments adopt the proper measures and procedures for disposal of their waste.
