Dubai firms asked not to deplete ozone layer
In a circular sent to companies working in the refrigeration sector, the Dubai Municipality asked them to abide by federal and local regulations concerning gas emissions into the atmosphere in order to protect the ozone layer from depletion.
Dubai: In a circular sent to companies working in the refrigeration sector, the Dubai Municipality asked them to abide by federal and local regulations concerning gas emissions into the atmosphere in order to protect the ozone layer from depletion.
Federal Decree No. 72 (2004) and technical guidelines issued by the Directorate of Environment of Dubai Municipality have set clear regulations concerning gas emissions, and all firms and individuals working in the industry are asked to ensure ozone is not emitted, the circular says.
