Coastal zone: New scheme for data collection

Dubai: The Coastal Management Section (CMS) at Dubai Municipality is to enhance its marine data collection and provision network.
New schemes for data collection and analysis aim to better manage the UAE's coastline. Alya Abdul Rahim, Head of CMS, said the move reflects the scientific approach adopted by CMS to manage the coastal zone.
"The data collected by the proposed schemes represent the latest technology in video capturing," Alya said.
