Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has achieved new milestones in its Emiratisation programme, with the number of UAE nationals reaching 775, against just 217 in 2006, an increase of 57 per cent.
Of the total workforce, about 22 per cent are women, signifying another major achievement for the department.
Commenting on the intensified Emiratisation drive, Salah Al Junaiby, Director of the Human Resources Department, ADJD, said, "The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department's Emiratisation programme, which forms a crucial part of its strategy and vision, picked up considerable momentum in 2007 and 2008, across different sections. We are now organising specialised programmes to enhance the skills of the workforce in association with outside organisations and organising motivational programmes to attract as many nationals as possible."
The department is giving top priority to Emiratisation, with a focus on training. The department has started arranging training seminars in customer service. Also, ICDL and English language learning has been integrated in the training programme.
