Fujairah: The Fujairah Appeal Court upheld a Dh200,000 fine against a Fujairah based decorating company for illegally employing four Chinese labourers.
The company appealed against a previous ruling by the Court of First Instance which also sentenced the four men to one month in jail with a fine of Dh100 each, to be followed by deportation.
The four men were apprehended during a labour inspection after they failed to produce proper employment documents. Investigations revealed the men stayed on in the country after their visit visas had expired.
