Dubai: Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department (DNRD) is set to launch a new video conferencing facility, Amer service, to provide customers with prompt answers for all visa and residency enquiries.
The ‘Amer' Video Conference Kiosk will be convenient, accessible, and increase clarity regarding DNRD procedures for visa and residency applications, and all DNRD related services.
The Amer Video Conference Kiosk has a simple and efficient design, said Major General Mohammad Ahmed Al Merri, Director General of DNRD.
It will be available in both English and Arabic. Kiosks will be located at DNRD headquarters, external DNRD offices, the Dubai International Airport and major shopping centers in Dubai.
This new automated system, which is an extension of DNRD ‘Amer' system, was launched during Gitex and will be available for public by the beginning of 2009.
