Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan ordered dispatching a plane to transport a 30 year old Emirati man who was injured in a traffic accident in Saudi Arabia.

UAE president sends plane to fetch Emirati injured in Saudi accident

The Emirati man, Ahmad Mohammad Al Darmaki, will be transported to the UAE, where he will continue to receive treatment. Al Darmaki suffered injuries to his spine, and was transported to King Abdul Aziz Hospital following the accident.
The plane will include a cadre from the Health Authority-Abu Dhabi and a Ministry of Interior officer.
The UAE Ministry of Interior expressed its thanks to Saudi Arabia for the medical care provided to Al Darmaki, and wished him a quick recovery.
