One dead as car hits camel, taxi

A senior officer at the RAK Traffic and Licensing Department said that the 41-year-old victim identified as O.A was pronounced dead on the spot

Ras Al Khaimah: An Emirati died after his car hit a camel and a taxi on Masafi road yesterday.

A senior officer at the RAK Traffic and Licensing Department said that the 41-year-old victim identified as O.A was pronounced dead on the spot.

The officer said the victim lost control over his vehicle which hit a camel and a passing taxi. The car overturned several times and landed far away from the street.

Emergency vehicles and an ambulance rushed to the scene but medics pronounced the victim dead on the scene. The victim's body was brought to a hospital to be later handed over to his family for burial.
