Outstanding UAE students head to Canada, New Zealand and Australia
As a reward for their hard work, the first group of the UAE outstanding students flew out to Canada, New Zealand and Australia to improve their English language and IT skills.
Abu Dhabi: As a reward for their hard work, the first group of the UAE outstanding students flew out to Canada, New Zealand and Australia to improve their English language and IT skills.
Dr Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Director General of Abu Dhabi Education Council said 'Summer Abroad Program' is part of the great support for students provided by General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nayahan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Education Council.
Dr Mughir praised the students' parents for encouraging their children. He assured them that their children will become more independent and behave in a mature way. "The students will be experiencing a different lifestyle and will learn many new things," he said, adding that the ADEC team did a magnificent job in coordination with Abu Dhabi Airport in organizing the students' departure through special boarding countres allocated specifically to them.
"ADEC will stay in contact with the chaperons on a regular basis during their stay abroad in order to follow up the students' performance and meet any arising needs," concluded the director general.
Students and their parents expressed their appreciation for the generous grant of the Crown Prince as it will help them gain an international experience and interact with a culture in another country.
