No exemptions from decision on start of UAE school year

Even private schools who have their own independent curriculum and not following the ministry of education's curriculum will be included in the ministries new decision to start the school year after Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr, a senior official at the Ministry of Education told Gulf News.

Abu Dhabi: Even private schools who have their own independent curriculum and not following the ministry of education's curriculum will be included in the ministries new decision to start the school year after Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr, a senior official at the Ministry of Education told Gulf News on Thursday.

"We are currently preparing regulations that will help us include private schools in the new decision to extend the new academic year for them too," confirmed the official, who wished to remain anonymous.
