More than 13,000 UAE national students get admission for higher education

A record number of UAE national students from secondary schools in the country have got admission in UAE’s higher education institutes, from the new academic year 2008-09.

Al Ain: A record number of UAE national students from secondary schools in the country have got admission in UAE's higher education institutes, from the new academic year 2008-09.

Around 13,315 students have been approved for admission in the UAE University, Zayed University, Higher Colleges of Technology and several foreign institutions.

Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has approved the students' lists on Thursday at a ceremony held at his palace in Al Khazna.
