GETEX forum begins today
The 20th Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX), one of the largest forums covering education and technology in the region, will open on Wednesday at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Dubai: The 20th Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX), one of the largest forums covering education and technology in the region, will open on Wednesday at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The four-day event brings together three categories under one roof - GETEX Careers and Training, GETEX Student Recruitment and GETEX Education Equipment and Technology.
The Careers and Training segment will provide vocational opportunities to both UAE nationals and expatriates in ten industries.
The Education Equipment and Technology portion will host an extended line-up of education equipment suppliers, inviting buyers and educators to take advantage of a forum for technology in education.
GETEX Student Recruitment will offer more than 2,500 secondary and tertiary education options from over 500 education pro-viders.
Both educators and students will find areas of interest with lectures given by international speakers on distance learning, leadership and skill building, to will be held alongside the exhibitions.
Organised by International Conferences and Exhibitions (IC&E), the event will be held under the patronage of Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
