Education Ministry to upgrade standards
The policies council at the Ministry of Education (MoE) is planning various programmes to raise education standards across schools in the UAE.
Abu Dhabi:The policies council at the Ministry of Education (MoE) is planning various programmes to raise education standards across schools in the UAE.
Dr Hanif Hassan, UAE Minister of Education, and the officials from the policies council met on Sunday morning to review a number of projects and programmes related to the education reform in the UAE.
The minister stressed on the importance of infusing technology projects in public schools, development of national curriculums and professional development courses that aim to raise the efficiency of teachers across the Arab world and the Middle East.
The ministry's performance indicators were reviewed for the fourth quarter of 2008 and results will be presented to the Cabinet.
