DPS Sharjah boy tops Indian board's class 12 exams

18-year-old scored 98.2 per cent marks, becoming the overall topper in the UAE

Dubai: Anant Srinivas Subramanian from Delhi Private School Sharjah (DPSS) topped the All India Senior School Certificate exam results that were announced by Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) on Monday.

The 18-year-old scored 98.2 per cent marks, becoming the overall topper in the UAE as well as in the science stream.

In commerce stream, Indian High School Dubai’s Hensel Frank Henry topped with 96.8 per cent, while Shivani Jawa of the same school topped in Arts stream with 95 per cent.

A total of 3,325 students appeared for the Class 12 exams from 29 schools across UAE with a pass rate of 99 per cent.
