Developing quality teachers is priority for Abu Dhabi
Singapore delegation in joint effort with emirate's Education Council
Abu Dhabi: Dr Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Director General of Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), has said that developing qualified teachers is ADEC's top priority.
A delegation of Singapore's National Education Commission is currently visiting Abu Dhabi to conduct a performance assessment of the Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE).
With the Abu Dhabi Education Council's (ADEC) keenness to enrich the educational system that would meet international standards, ECAE has also been selected to help provide school staff with training programmes in all subjects.
Al Khaili said that several initiatives have been launched since last year as part of ADEC's ten-year strategic plan to qualify teachers across schools in Abu Dhabi.
