Conference aims to build bridges
More than 1,200 delegates from 75 countries will take part in the second international student's leadership conference, Women as Global Leaders, organised by Zayed University from March 12 to 14 at the Emirates Palace Hotel here.
Abu Dhabi: More than 1,200 delegates from 75 countries will take part in the second international student's leadership conference, Women as Global Leaders, organised by Zayed University from March 12 to 14 at the Emirates Palace Hotel here.
The conference is organized under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, and will feature major speakers from the UAE and around the world, including Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Queen Rania of Jordan, Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi, UAE Minister of Economy, Cherie Booth, wife of UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, and other speakers.
The conference aims to build bridges.
Sponsors for the conference are First Gulf Bank, Abu Dhabi Investment House, Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority, Mubadalah, Shell, Rotana Suites, Resorts and Hotels, Emirates Transport and Ali and Sons group.
The conference also includes presentations by prominent world leaders and personalities.
