Abu Dhabi schools to undertake modernisation plan
Schools in the emirate can expect less bureaucracy, more decentralisation and modern technology, infrastructure and appropriate buildings, according to the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADC).

Abu Dhabi: Schools in the emirate can expect less bureaucracy, more decentralisation and modern technology, infrastructure and appropriate buildings, according to the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADC).
In a recent meeting headed by director general Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi and in the presence of Mohammad Salem Al Daheri, Abu Dhabi Educational Zone director, the ADC work plan was reviewed for the next phase, which includes developing education in the emirate.
During next phase, the departments' plans will work in accordance with the professional development of administrative and academic staff to meet international standards and qualify them to meet modern teaching methods.
This is part of the vision of General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and President of ADC, and Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs and deputy chairman of ADC.
The plans also include developing the school curriculum, implementing modern teaching methods, educating management, equipping the learning environment and advanced policies to enable students to keep up with their counterparts in other countries and qualify them to meet future challenges.
ADC departments presented their work plans during the meeting within the framework of integration, with a view to exploring views and observations in favour of strategic goals and constant development of education.
The plans include developing the school curriculum, implementing modern teaching methods, educating management and equipping the learning environment
