Three Emirati youths have been sentenced on Wednesday to three years in jail by the Dubai Court of First Instance for attacking another UAE national with a sword and badly wounding him.
Dubai: Three Emirati youths have been sentenced on Wednesday to three years in jail by the Dubai Court of First Instance for attacking another UAE national with a sword and badly wounding him.
The Public Prosecution charged the trio with intentionally assaulting the victim with a one-and-a-half-metre-long sword and knuckledusters and badly injuring him.
The scuffle, which ended in a major fight, started with throwing of cigarette butts and nuts in a hotel in Deira, Dubai.
