Dubai: Two men will spend seven years in jail each for kidnapping and repeatedly raping an 18-year-old girl, who reports said had fled her parents' home, a court has ruled.
Dubai Court of First Instance found 20-year-old Iraqi, W.F., and 18-year-old Emirati, S.K., guilty of kidnapping and raping the UAE national girl, A.M., in one of Dubai's outskirts.
The Iraqi accused will be deported after serving his jail term. An Egyptian imam reported the police about A.M. when he discovered that she took shelter in the men's washroom in a masjid in Al Warqa.
