Two jailed in municipality forgery case
Two men have been jailed for forging 23 coupon books containing passes to Dubai Municipality's sewerage treatment plants, and selling them to an Indian sewerage tank driver for Dh46,400.
Dubai: Two men have been jailed for forging 23 coupon books containing passes to Dubai Municipality's sewerage treatment plants, and selling them to an Indian sewerage tank driver for Dh46,400.
The Dubai Court of First Instance sentenced the Egyptians - 43-year-old truck driver A.M. and 29-year-old assistant technician M.H. - to four months in prison. They will be deported after serving their sentence. The verdict is subject to appeal.
A.M. and M.H. pleaded not guilty when they had first appeared before Presiding Judge Abdul Majid Al Nezamy.
