Kalba: Two Omani men were found guilty of possessing and consuming drugs by the Kalba Criminal Court and were each sentenced to four years in prison.

S.M., and W.A. were arrested as they attempted to enter the UAE through the land border with Oman near Kalba.

Police noticed the two acting suspiciously and a search of their vehicle led to quantities of Hashish being seized.

During police interrogation, the pair admitted possession of the illegal substances for personal use and their case was taken up by the Kalba Public Prosecution.
