Sharjah: Sharjah Police on Tuesday arrested two Arab men who allegedly intended to distribute 500,000 Saudi riyals (Dh489,505) in counterfeit currency.
"The two suspects were touring various commercial shops in Sharjah, trying to promote the forged money which was professionally duplicated," explained an official at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Sharjah Police. The police urge the public to contact Najeed Service through the toll free number 800151, email to najeed@shjpolice.gov.ae or fax to 06-5529000, if they come across any suspicious dealings.
