Stranded family rescued from desert

The Air Wing of the Ras Al Khaimah Police yesterday rescued a stranded Australian family whose vehicle was stuck in the middle of the sand in Al Saedi area here.

Ras Al Khaimah : The Air Wing of the Ras Al Khaimah Police yesterday rescued a stranded Australian family whose vehicle was stuck in the middle of the sand in Al Saedi area here.

Major Saeed Al Yamahi, who heads the Police Air Wing said the father, mother and two children got stuck in the desert and could not describe their location.

A helicopter instantly started a mission to find the location of the family and rescued them.
