Abu Dhabi: Police are sifting through surveillance camera evidences to nab the bank robber who stole Dh120,000 from a resident on Wednesday afternoon, Gulf News has learnt.

"We are on the hunt, but there is no suspect as yet", said an official of Abu Dhabi Police. "We are looking at the recordings of the surveillance cameras at the bank", he added.

A Palestinian man was robbed after he withdrew cash from an ATM of Dubai Islamic Bank on Salaam Street.

The offender knocked on the window of the victims' car and tricked him into believing that he had a flat tyre. As soon as the victim got out of his car to check the tyre, the criminal fled the scene with the money.
