Scrap yard in Sharjah industrial area catches fire
A fire erupted at a scrap yard in Industrial Area 4, Sharjah, on Wednesday afternoon.

Sharjah: A fire erupted at a scrap yard in Industrial Area 4, Sharjah, on Wednesday afternoon.
No casualties were reported.
Sharjah Police were alerted about the fire at 1pm. A Civil Defence team rushed to the site, while Anjad patrol cordoned off the area.
Police said waste material at the yard - included pieces of wood, plastic and other flammable items - fuelled the blaze.
The fire was put out within 10 minutes, said the police.
